Nature Integration
Nature Integration Experiences are a part of Craniosacral Therapy Intensives. CST Intensives are designed for deep work, and it is important to allow time for integration and reflection following your Intensive. This can be a self-guided or a guided experience. We recommend spending time outdoors because nature doesn’t project, allowing more space for you to continue developing the felt sense of your own energy and its movements.
Nature Integration Experiences
Any outdoor activity can be a part of Nature Integration. Sitting and reading by a tree, hiking, paddling on a quiet lake, camping, or more vigorous activities like mountain biking or climbing can all facilitate deeper integration after a CST Intensive experience. Two key components to add to your experience are:
- try something new
- build “reflective time” and activities into each day
Many people who are interested in a Craniosacral Therapy Intensive are seeking some type of change. We can start shifting our habits and perspectives by doing something differently. Trying something new forces us to access parts of ourselves that we typically don’t and may not even know we are capable of.
“Reflective time” is practicing techniques learned during the Energy Meditation portion of your CST Intensive. We’ll discuss best practices both during planning and your Intensive Experience.
Bird’s Eye Wisdom Guided Nature Integration
We offer guided hiking and backpacking trips for our Craniosacral Therapy Intensive clients. Choose from guided daily hikes where you return to your lodging or camp each evening or overnight adventures where you carry all you need in your pack and sleep under the stars.
Along with having a guide, choosing a guided adventure with us allows for custom reflective practices during the trip. Attuning to different energies in nature can teach us to inhabit our own bodies more deeply. For example, green spaces can help us to inhabit the chest and heart more easily. Your guide can assist you in choosing the environment that best aligns with your goals. They can also facilitate practices when spontaneous natural occurrences present themselves.
