It’s the cool thing to do in 2025.  At least for me.  As I’m working on sharing new Spiritual Wellness Coaching, Hiking, and Backpacking services I also want to share thoughts and experiences during this foundational period and record them as this grows.  My first blog post today is a short hello and to share what I anticipate writing about.

Spirituality—it’s the experience of everything.  As elusive as that is, subsequent posts will have real life examples.  It’s all Spiritual because everything is Spiritual.

Embodiment Practices—ways to practice sensing and interacting with the energy in and around our bodies.  This awareness and openness provides insights from different aspects of our knowingness and intelligence.  We often relate this things with only the mind and our inner voice, but we’re so much more than that.

Physical Exercise—strength, mobility, cardio

Nature—experiences in nature and thoughts.  Getting out there can help us be embodied without effort.  But learning embodiment skills also helps us connect and listen to Nature.  Both are cool.

Outdoor Skills—helpful things that can help you venture further into Nature, either via a longer day hike or run or overnight trips.  Learning how to navigate maps and terrain, filter water, make a fire, and pitch a tent opened up new worlds to explore.

Other Cool Stuff—TBD.  Probably a lot of outdoor pictures, hikes, travel, etc.  And probably some thoughts on my dog Taj, who I’ve joked (but wasn’t kidding) that he is some type of Spiritual Teacher who is paid in snacks and belly rubs.
